Car Leasing in Montreal: Start With these Vehicles

Yesterday I wrote an article about how good the Honda Civic is for a first-time buyer. It is definitely a fantastic option, but I would like to extend this topic a little bit more. Based on my experience, what I see around in Montreal, among all the requests we receive, and the actual dealer incentives available through the year, the following vehicles will be at the top of the list of suggestions if you have decided for doing a car leasing in Montreal.

Always Review the Latest Offers

Offers come and go every month. The fact that you are connected and up to date with this will still help you decide when it comes to excellent opportunities. Just to mention an example: during January and February of 2018, Nissan Canada was offering all SUVs with AWD transmission at the price of the FWD ones. If by not knowing this you would have jumped into a dealership and having in mind that the FWD was what you could afford, you would have regretted that mistake later on.

Compact Car: The Civic

Without discussion, it would be the #1 alternative if you are looking for an excellent compact car starter. I won't spend much time on this article talking about it as you can refer to the full one that I wrote yesterday: Honda Civic Lease: The Best Option for Canadian First-Time Buyers.

SUV: The Rogue

The Rogue is the most popular SUV in Québec and #4 all across Canada. Base model pricing is similar to the Civic, although the vehicle purpose is definitely different. Between 2016 and 2018, the model sales have been increasing at a very consolidated steep due to the partnership between Nissan North America and the new Star Wars movies.

Car Leasing in Montreal: Start With these Vehicles - Nissan Rogue

Only in Canada, the Rogue sales number reached a record 43,418 units sold during 2017, from a total of 134,244 vehicles from the whole Nissan fleet. In the U.S., the Rogue sales reached an astonishing record of 403,465 delivered Rogues, taking the first place for the manufacturer, and placing the Altima in the second place after more than 12 years.

Luxury SUV: The Q5

If you have a better budget, Audi's Q5 is the perfect alternative to start regarding price, features, and reliability. BMW, Mercedes, and some other Japanese manufacturers are as good as Audi, but pricing incentives, stock availability and popularity have always been on the side of the Q5. It is the top-selling Luxury SUV in Canada.

During 2017, Audi sold a total of 36,007 vehicles in Canada, where 7,511 were Q5. In the U.S. a total of 57,640 models were delivered during the same period.

It will Ultimately Depend on Your Budget and Needs

If you live outside of the significant urban areas, moving around on a Civic during the winter may be a little problematic. I mentioned in an article a while ago, about a friend who got caught during a snowstorm at work and had to shovel two blocks on the way home to finally reach his driveway. While not a regular situation, it is something to consider, depending on your needs and your budget, but still, stay up to date with what is out there, Montréal.
